Access to and Confidence in Using Technology Among Homebound Older Adults and Caregivers

      solutions to counter the adverse outcomes experienced by these individuals, including social isolation and advanced medical conditions, will become increasingly necessary. Supporting older homebound adults as they age in place is a matter of humanity as well as economics, as social isolation and homebound status are independent predictors of both functional decline and death.
